How both teams to score settles

The rules are short, but a few details catch people out:

• GG (Yes) wins if each team scores at least once in normal time plus stoppage time.
• NG (No) wins if either team, or both, fails to score. A 0-0 and a 2-0 both settle NG.
• Own goals count for the team that benefits from them.
• Extra time and penalties are not included unless the market says so.
• First half GG and second half GG are separate markets with their own prices.

Then the price. GG at 1.75 implies about 57%. If our estimate is not clearly higher, we pass. That is why some busy Saturdays produce only three or four picks.

Leagues and matches where GG tends to land

Patterns shift by season, so we avoid fixed rules, but open leagues with attacking full-backs and weaker defences lower down the table produce more GG than cautious, tactical ones. The Bundesliga has long been known for open games. The Ghana Premier League is usually tighter, with plenty of 1-0 and 0-0 results on difficult pitches, so local GG picks need a stronger case. Cup ties between unequal sides lean NG; derbies are unpredictable both ways.

GG combinations

Many bookmakers in Ghana offer combinations such as GG and Over 2.5, Home and GG, or GG in both halves. Each adds a condition: GG and Over 2.5 loses on a 1-1 that a plain GG bet wins. The higher price is fair payment for that extra risk, not a bargain. We list combinations only when the match profile fits all conditions.

Staking GG picks in cedis

Most GG prices sit between about 1.55 and 2.10, so these are close to even-money bets. Use a flat stake: with a monthly budget of GHS 250, GHS 4 to GHS 5 per pick keeps a bad week manageable. Four GG picks combined give odds around 10.00, but one 1-0 ruins the slip; if you combine, cut the stake.

Where GG bets go wrong

• The 1-0 at half-time panic. Cashing out cheaply or chasing live usually costs more than letting the bet run.
• Backing a big favourite's opponent to score without checking whether it creates any chances away from home.
• Overlooking rotation before European and cup nights.
• Trusting "accurate BTTS tips today" claims. Accuracy only shows over hundreds of picks.

First half GG and live GG

First half GG pays much more because it needs both goals inside 45 minutes, and most matches start cautiously. We tip it rarely, only when both teams start fast and concede early. Live GG after the first goal is a different calculation: once one side has scored, the bet becomes a simple question of whether the other team will reply, and the price reflects the minutes left. If you bet in play, decide your maximum stake before kick-off, not after a goal that you think "must" be answered. Booking codes cannot carry live bets, so in-play picks are always your own decision.
