This policy explains what personal data Tamale Online collects when you read the site or write to us, why we collect it and what choices you have. In short, we collect very little: basic usage data, cookie preferences and whatever you choose to send us by email. We do not ask for betting account details, MoMo numbers or ID documents.
Data we collect
- Usage data. Pages viewed, approximate location by country or region, device and browser type, gathered through analytics tools in aggregated form.
- Cookies. Small files that remember settings and, with your consent where required, measure visits and affiliate referrals.
- Messages. Your email address and the content of anything you send through our contact details.
Why we use it
We use this data to keep the site working, to understand which pages are useful, to answer your messages and to record when a visit came from one of our bookmaker links, so that commissions can be credited. We do not sell personal data.
Affiliate links and third parties
When you click a link to a bookmaker, you leave our site. The operator may set its own cookies and will collect the details you give when you register. Its privacy policy, not ours, covers that data. Analytics and hosting providers process data for us under their own terms.
Retention and security
Emails are kept as long as needed to deal with your request and then deleted or archived. Analytics data is held in aggregated form. We take reasonable technical steps to protect what we hold, though no online service is completely secure.
Your rights
Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) gives you the right to ask what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted and to object to its use. Children
The site is meant for adults 18+ only, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone younger.
