Football Predictions Today

Today's football picks with Ghana kick-off times, a one-line reason for each and the odds we saw when we published.

No prediction is ever sure. Tips here are opinions built on form and statistics, so treat them as research, not a promise. 18+.

Our prediction for today list is in the feed below: the matches on today's card that passed our checks, the market we chose, the odds when we published and a short reason for each pick. All kick-off times are in GMT, which is the clock in Accra, Kumasi and Tamale every day of the year, so there is nothing to convert. Use the list as a starting point for your own decision, not as a slip to copy blindly.

One thing needs saying up front. Many punters type "sure win prediction today" into Google every morning, and plenty of pages answer with big promises. No honest source can promise a result, because even a strong favourite drops points most weekends. What we can offer is a clear process, a visible price and a reason you can check.

Selection for

TimeLeagueMatchTipWhy
17:30Serie AVenezia vs InterInter to winInter are defending champions and Venezia are on a six-match winless league run.
17:30Serie AAC Milan vs Bologna1XMilan beat Atalanta 3-2 on 18 October and play at home, so Bologna avoiding defeat is the risk.
17:30Serie AAC Milan vs BolognaBTTS - YesMilan have scored in both known league games here, 3-2 and 1-1, so both sides scoring looks plausible.
17:30Serie AAC Milan vs BolognaOver 2.5 goalsMilan's last league win was a 3-2 scoreline, though limited data is available for this match.
17:30Serie AParma vs Udinese1XLittle form data was gathered, so this rests on home advantage and the cover of the draw.
17:30Serie AVenezia vs InterBTTS - NoVenezia's winless run suggests they struggle to hurt Inter, so a clean sheet for the visitors is possible.
19:45Serie AGenoa vs JuventusX2Juventus are the stronger side on paper, and the double chance covers a draw at Genoa.
19:45Serie AMonza vs NapoliX2Napoli are the away side against a Monza team under a new coach; double chance limits the risk.

Tips are opinions based on form and statistics, never guarantees. Stake only what you can afford to lose. 18+.

Each line shows the fixture, the competition, the kick-off time in GMT, the market (for example home win, over 2.5 or both teams to score), the price we saw and a sentence of reasoning. When a game finishes, the line keeps its result so you can see how the day actually went, losers included.

How a Ghanaian match day is laid out

Because Ghana sits on GMT with no daylight saving, the European schedule lines up neatly with the local day. A typical Saturday looks something like this:

Window (GMT)What usually playsWhen we post
Morning to early afternoonAsian and Australian leagues, early European kick-offsOvernight or early morning
AfternoonEnglish Premier League and lower English leagues, Ghana Premier League fixturesLate morning, rechecked at line-ups
EveningSpain, Italy, Germany, France, Champions League nights in midweekAfternoon, rechecked at line-ups
Late nightBrazil, Argentina, MLSEvening, only if the data is solid

The list grows through the day. A match that is missing at 9 am may appear after lunch, once we have seen the probable starting eleven.

What a game must pass to make today's list

We work from the full fixture list down, cutting games out, instead of starting with a favourite and hunting for reasons to back it. A match has to clear four filters:

  1. Form that holds up to context. Results over the last six to eight games, split home and away, weighed against the strength of the opponents.
  2. Chance quality. Expected goals (xG) for and against. A side that keeps winning while creating little is often living on luck.
  3. Team news. Injuries, suspensions and rotation around cup or European games.
  4. Price. We turn the view into a rough probability and compare it with the bookmaker's odds. Odds of 1.80 imply roughly 56%; if we only rate the outcome at 52%, the pick is dropped, however attractive the team.

On a busy Saturday perhaps one fixture in ten survives. On a quiet Tuesday there may only be two or three picks. A short list is not a slow day for us; it is the method doing its job.

Correct score prediction today: why we rarely post one

"Correct prediction score today" is one of the most searched phrases in Ghana, and it is also one of the hardest bets to win. Even the most likely scoreline in a typical league match, often 1-1 or 1-0, lands only around one time in eight to one in ten. We publish correct score picks only on our correct score page, with small stakes in mind, and we do not mix them into the main daily list.

Staking today's picks in GHS

A daily list is a menu, not an order. You do not have to back every line, and you should not raise your stake because a list is long. A simple level-stake approach:

  • Decide a monthly betting budget in cedis that you could lose without missing rent, school fees or transport.
  • Split it into about 50 units. With GHS 400 for the month, one unit is GHS 8.
  • Put one unit on each single you choose. Take two or three picks on a big day, not all twelve.
  • Keep a note of each bet: date, match, market, odds, stake, result.

If you want to test a few picks as a slip, our odds calculator shows the combined odds and return before you commit.

Placing a pick at a licensed bookmaker

  1. Log in to a bookmaker holding a Gaming Commission of Ghana licence and top up with Telecel Cash, AT Money or MTN MoMo, approving the prompt on your phone with your PIN.
  2. Search for the fixture by team name. Check that the kick-off time matches ours, so you are not on a different match between similarly named clubs.
  3. Open the exact market named in the pick. "Over 2.5" sits under total goals; "GG" or "both teams to score" is its own tab.
  4. Compare the price. If it has dropped well below ours, the value may have gone.
  5. Enter your stake and confirm. Some days we also share picks as booking codes.

Habits that undo a good daily list

  • Stacking everything into one accumulator. Eight decent picks combined become one long shot; one late goal sinks the lot.
  • Betting before line-ups. European team sheets come out about an hour before kick-off; a rested striker changes a goals call.
  • Chasing after the afternoon. Losing the 3 pm games is not a reason to double up on the evening matches.
  • Trusting screenshots. A "won ticket" picture tells you nothing about the slips that lost.

Betting is for adults 18+ only. If it stops being fun, use the deposit limits your bookmaker offers or read our responsible gambling page.

Frequently asked questions

What time are the predictions for today published?

The first picks usually go up in the morning, Ghana time. Afternoon and evening matches are added or rechecked closer to kick-off, once probable line-ups are known.

Why is a big EPL game missing from today's list?

Because it did not pass our checks, usually on price. A popular favourite is often priced too short to be worth backing, so we leave it out rather than force a pick.

Are the kick-off times shown in Ghana time?

Yes. Times are in GMT, which is the same as Ghana time throughout the year.

Can I put all of today's picks in one slip?

You can, but the chance of every leg winning drops sharply with each one added. We publish them as singles and suggest you choose a few rather than combining the whole list.

What happens if my bookmaker shows lower odds than yours?

Odds move after we publish. If the price has fallen a lot, the bet may no longer be good value and skipping it is a reasonable choice.
