By If you are searching for the Helabet app in Ghana, the short answer is that we found no Helabet app for Ghanaian users, and we advise against installing one. Helabet is not on the Gaming Commission of Ghana register of licensed operators, so any app carrying its name would serve you from offshore, outside Ghanaian consumer protection. Licensed bookmakers offer apps through official channels, with MoMo and GHS accounts.
Tamale Online is an independent review site. We checked the Commission register and the international Helabet site in October 2026. We did not install any Helabet app. Betting is for adults 18+.

Why a Helabet APK is a double risk
Many searches ask for a Helabet APK or "hela bet app" download. Installing any APK from outside an app store means trusting the file's source. Here there are two layers of doubt: you cannot easily confirm the file is genuine, and even a genuine app connects you to an operator that has no Ghana licence. Possible consequences:
- A tampered APK can read SMS codes, which lets someone else take over your MoMo or betting accounts.
- Payments may be routed through agents or personal numbers rather than a licensed MoMo merchant.
- If a withdrawal is refused, there is no Gaming Commission complaint route.
Helabet app for iPhone
We found no Helabet iOS app for Ghana. Be wary of any instructions to install a configuration profile or a "beta" build to get one; those methods can expose your phone to remote control.
Already installed it?
- Do not add more money.
- Try to withdraw any balance through the app's cashier and keep screenshots.
- Uninstall the app.
- Change passwords you used there, and check your MoMo statement for unknown transactions.
- Turn off "install unknown apps" for your browser in Android settings.
What a licensed betting app looks like
A licensed app is easy to recognise. It comes from a store listing or the operator's own Ghana site, it names the company behind it, it shows GHS balances, and its cashier sends MoMo prompts that you approve on your own phone. The site footer carries a Gaming Commission licence reference you can match against the register. Helabet meets none of these points for Ghana.
