Boltbet is the brand that replaced Supabets in Ghana, and it holds a 2026 licence from the Gaming Commission of Ghana for online and land-based sports betting. In this Boltbet review we look at what the operator publishes about itself, its football features, its games and the gaps you should know about, such as the lack of a standing welcome bonus and no app in the official stores. Tamale Online is an independent review site with no link to the operator's staff.
Boltbet review: who is behind the brand
If you remember Supabets Ghana, you already know Boltbet: old Supabets links now open Boltbet pages. The operator describes itself as one of the older betting companies in Ghana (its own founding year is in the facts box above) and runs a network of physical betting shops alongside the website, with an office on Oxford Street in Osu, Accra. That mix of retail and online is less common among newer brands and means you can often find a shop near you if you prefer to bet over the counter.
The site footer states that Boltbet Ghana is licensed under the Gaming Act 2006 (Act 721), and the brand appears on the Gaming Commission list for 2026 as an online and land-based sports betting operator. The licence reference is in our facts box: Boltbet Ghana; Gaming Commission of Ghana licence GCSB25Y6332O. We found no suspension between 2024 and 2026. Note that the list does not show a separate online casino licence.

Football features: 2UP and One Leg Out
Two promotions give Boltbet some character on the football side:
- 2UP early payout. On online pre-match 1X2 football bets, singles and accumulators, your pick is settled as a winner if the team goes two goals ahead, even if the opponent comes back later. It does not apply to bets placed in shops.
- One Leg Out. Long accumulators that lose by a single leg get part of the stake refunded, scaled by the number of legs, with a minimum odds requirement per leg. The exact thresholds are on the promotion page.
Both features reward bets punters place anyway, such as a weekend EPL accumulator, but neither turns a long acca into a good bet. A refund on one losing leg is still a loss.
Games: Aviator, Spin&Win and virtuals
The games menu includes Aviator, Skypilot and other crash games, several Spin&Win variants, Betgames, Keno, dog racing, greyhounds and Zoom virtual soccer. Weekly Spin&Win promotions offer a share back on net losses and a leaderboard for online accounts. A cashback on losses is still a loss: if you need it to keep playing, the session has gone on too long. See our crash games guide for how these games work.
Boltbet app, registration and deposits
We found no Boltbet app on Google Play Ghana or the App Store, and no iOS app at all. The Contact page shows an apps block, and reviews mention an Android APK from the site. Use the mobile website if in doubt, and only install an APK linked from the official site.
Registration involves age checks with ID documents, and those checks return before withdrawals. Payment methods are not listed on the official pages we could read; reviews mention MTN MoMo. Check the cashier for your network and the minimum deposit (). Our mobile money betting sites page explains the usual deposit flow.
Boltbet bonus and promo code
We found no standing Boltbet welcome bonus, and the old Supabets sign-up offer is no longer current. Bonus funds from promotions sit in a separate wallet with short expiry, a rollover on single bets at minimum odds and a cap on bonus winnings, all set out in the promo rules. No Boltbet promo code is needed for the promotions we could confirm. Compare offers on our Ghana betting bonuses page.
Boltbet customer care
The Contact Us page and footer list a phone line, WhatsApp, Telegram and email. Use those exact contacts from the official site. The support email shown is a free webmail address, which is unusual for a licensed operator, so be extra careful that any message you receive really comes from a channel listed on the site.
Verdict and alternatives
Boltbet is a licensed, established local brand with real shops and a couple of useful football features. It is weaker on transparency online: no app in the stores, no published payment list and no welcome offer. If those matter to you, compare it with these licensed brands:
