National Weekly lotto results appear in the feed below after the NLA's Saturday evening draw, which currently starts at around 8:00 pm GMT on GTV. National Weekly is the NLA's flagship game and the best-known Saturday lotto in Ghana, but it uses the same 5/90 rules as the weekday games: five winning numbers drawn from 1 to 90, with fixed odds for each ticket type. Below you will find the draw time, how payouts are calculated and how to claim a Saturday win.

The first row shows the most recent Saturday. Before tonight's draw it still shows last week, so read the date. We take the numbers from the NLA's announcement, and the NLA result is the official one if any copy differs.

Saturday draw time
National Weekly is drawn every Saturday evening. On 1 December 2025 the NLA moved its live draws to GTV prime time, and the Monday to Saturday draw went from 7:15 pm to around 8:00 pm GMT. On a typical Saturday that means the draw comes after the afternoon Premier League kick-offs and the Ghana Premier League fixtures, often while evening European matches are still being played. Saturday also has a VAG morning draw, which is a separate game with its own page.
Why National Weekly is the flagship game
National Weekly is the NLA's headline weekly draw and the one most Ghanaians mean when they talk about "Saturday lotto". Its name and its Saturday slot make it the natural end of the lotto week for many players. That status does not change the maths: each Saturday draw is independent, and every number from 1 to 90 has the same chance.
Fixed odds versus "dividends"
Some players search for "Saturday lotto dividends", a term from pool lotteries abroad, where the prize fund is shared among winners and the payout depends on how many people won. NLA 5/90 tickets work differently:
| NLA 5/90 fixed odds | Pool lottery with dividends | |
|---|---|---|
| How a win is calculated | Your stake times the multiplier for your bet type | A share of a prize pool divided among winners |
| Effect of other winners | None; each winner is paid the same multiple | More winners means smaller shares |
| Known before the draw? | Yes, the multiplier is set when you buy | No, the dividend is announced after the draw |
So on National Weekly, there is no reason to avoid popular numbers to protect your payout. The multipliers are fixed by the NLA and can be revised, which is why we do not print them; check the ticket or the seller's screen.
Bet types for Saturday
National Weekly supports the usual NLA tickets. Direct: all your chosen numbers must be among the five. Perm: a longer list split into many lines, each staked. Banker: one key number that must be drawn. If you are building a bigger Saturday ticket, total the Perm lines first; a Perm-3 with eight numbers is already 56 lines. The NLA lotto hub explains each type in detail, and the Mid-Week page has a Perm cost table.
National Weekly prediction posts
Saturday prediction posts are the busiest of the week, and so are the scams. Fraudsters share edited photos of "winning" National Weekly tickets, sell numbers for MoMo, and sometimes pose as NLA staff. The NLA has said that lotto is a game of chance and that it has no forms or agents for "winning numbers". If you like statistics, our lotto statistics page shows hot and cold counts as history only.
Checking and claiming a Saturday win
- Match the game name (National Weekly) and the Saturday draw date on your ticket with the feed.
- Compare with the five winning numbers; machine numbers do not count for normal tickets.
- Small wins: return to your agent, or check the MoMo, Telecel Cash or AT Money wallet you paid from for digital tickets.
- Larger wins: NLA validation and payment at a Prize Payment Centre, at the head office or a regional office, on a working day. Bring the original ticket and your Ghana Card.
- Store the ticket safely over Sunday. A torn or wet ticket can be refused.
Where the Saturday result is announced first
The National Weekly numbers are drawn live on GTV, and that broadcast is the first official moment the result exists. The NLA then publishes it through its official channels, and licensed sellers settle tickets against it. Screenshots that circulate on WhatsApp within minutes are usually accurate, but they are copies, and copies can carry typos or mix up the winning and machine rows. If a forwarded image says you won, confirm it with the NLA or your seller before telling the family.
For a Saturday you missed, the NLA past results archive has older National Weekly draws.
National Weekly is for adults 18+ only. If your Saturday routine has grown from one ticket to many, take a step back and set a firm weekly limit.
Frequently asked questions
What time is the National Weekly lotto drawn on Saturday?
Around 8:00 pm GMT, live on GTV, since the NLA schedule change of 1 December 2025. The Saturday VAG morning draw is a separate game.
Does National Weekly have a jackpot that grows?
National Weekly is a fixed-odds 5/90 game: your win is your stake times the multiplier for your bet type, set when you buy. Check the seller for the current multipliers.
Do more winners on Saturday reduce my payout?
No. With fixed odds, every winner on the same bet type is paid the same multiple of their stake, no matter how many people win.
Where do I claim a big National Weekly win?
Large wins go through NLA validation and are paid at Prize Payment Centres at the NLA head office and regional offices, on working days. Bring the ticket and your Ghana Card.
