Premier League predictions this week
Picks for Saturday and Sunday games are usually posted on Friday, midweek rounds a day before. Each is rechecked when line-ups are named about an hour before kick-off. Settled picks stay on the list with their result.

These are typical slots rather than fixed rules; TV picks move games around. British clocks go back on the last Sunday of October and forward on the last Sunday of March, and Ghana's do not change, so check the time on your slip after each switch.
What we look at before an EPL pick
With so much attention on the league, simple angles such as "big club at home" are already in the price. We look for the details that the headline odds can miss:
- European hangover. Clubs in the Champions League, Europa League or Conference League play Thursday or midweek nights; the following weekend is when rotation and tired legs show.
- Underlying numbers. Expected goals for and against over the last eight to ten matches, which often tell a different story from the table.
- Injuries in key positions. A missing holding midfielder or first-choice goalkeeper changes more than a missing winger.
- Set pieces. In a league where many games are tight, dead-ball strength decides a lot of matches and corners markets.
- Price versus our view. If the favourite's odds imply more than we think it deserves, we look at the other side, the draw or a goals line instead.
Which markets work best on the EPL
Match result prices on the big clubs are usually short and efficient. We often find more reasonable value on goals lines, both teams to score, Asian handicaps and draw no bet, especially in mid-table games that receive less attention. Outright markets: title, top four and top scorer
Many Ghanaian punters like a long-term bet: who wins the league, who finishes in the top four, who is top scorer, who goes down. A few things to know before you tie up money for months:
- Outright prices include a larger bookmaker margin than single matches, so the "odds to win the Premier League" on any club are often less generous than they look.
- Your stake is locked until the end of the season, unless the operator offers cash-out.
- Injuries to one key player can change a title race in a week.
