Friday Bonanza Lotto Results

Tonight's Friday Bonanza lotto numbers, the Friday draw time and a simple way to keep lotto and weekend football betting within budget.

By , Editor, football tips, NLA lotto and bookmaker reviewsUpdated

Friday Bonanza results are published in the feed below after the NLA's Friday evening draw, held at around 8:00 pm GMT on GTV. Friday Bonanza is a standard 5/90 game, the same format as every other NLA evening draw, with five winning numbers drawn from 1 to 90. Because Friday is also when many Ghanaian punters load up accumulators for the weekend's football, this page includes a practical plan for keeping lotto and betting money apart.

Before the draw, the top row shows last Friday. After the draw, the five winning numbers and, when available, the machine numbers appear. The result on the NLA's own channels is the official one, and we follow it.

Friday Bonanza draw day and time

The draw runs every Friday evening. Since 1 December 2025 the NLA has broadcast its draws live on GTV, with the Monday to Saturday draw moved from 7:15 pm to around 8:00 pm GMT. The VAG morning game also runs on Fridays, but it is a separate draw with its own numbers. If you are holding a morning ticket, see the VAG lotto results instead.

What "Bonanza" means and what it does not

The name suggests something bigger, but Friday Bonanza works like any other NLA 5/90 game. As far as we could find, it uses the same bet types and fixed-odds structure, and the odds of your numbers coming out are exactly the same as on a Tuesday or a Sunday. A single chosen number has a 1 in 18 chance of being among the five; a chosen pair about 1 in 400. The multipliers paid for each bet type are set by the NLA and shown when you buy, so check them on the ticket rather than relying on what a friend heard.

One more naming trap: searches for "bonanza" also bring up casino slots such as Sweet Bonanza. Those are online casino games run by betting sites, not NLA lotto, and their results have nothing to do with the Friday draw.

A Friday budget plan for lotto and football

Friday evening is busy for many players: a lotto ticket before 8 pm, then bet slips for Saturday's Premier League games and Ghana Premier League fixtures. Mixing the two budgets is how small weekly spending quietly grows. A simple plan:

StepWhat to doWhy
1Set one weekly entertainment amount in cedisA fixed ceiling stops "just one more" tickets
2Split it: part for lotto, part for footballA bad Friday draw should not raid your weekend betting money, or the reverse
3Use one MoMo wallet or sub-account for bothYou can see the total spent at a glance
4Do not stake winnings straight backTake a win out first; decide later
5Stop when the amount is goneChasing on Saturday is the most common mistake

If you bet on football too, the same honesty applies there. Our football predictions are opinions with reasoning, not certainties.

Checking a Friday Bonanza ticket

  1. Check that the ticket names Friday Bonanza and today's draw date.
  2. Compare your numbers with the five winning numbers only.
  3. Apply the bet type: Direct needs all your numbers among the five, a simple Banker needs your banker number, and each fully covered Perm line wins on its own.
  4. Confirm with a second source before discarding a ticket, because copied result posts sometimes contain typos.

If the bet types are new to you, the NLA lotto hub explains Direct, Perm and Banker in depth.

Banker tickets on Friday

Banker bets are especially popular going into the weekend. A Banker is built around one number: in its simple form, it wins if that number is among the five drawn. That gives it the best chance of any 5/90 bet, 1 in 18, and a correspondingly modest multiplier. The word "banker" does not mean the number is safe. Sellers of "Friday banker" numbers on WhatsApp are selling a guess with a price tag, and the NLA has warned that winning numbers cannot be known before a draw. Our lotto predictions page covers these scams.

Claiming a Friday win before the weekend

Small wins can often be collected from the agent or credited to your wallet the same evening or the next day, depending on the channel. Larger wins go through NLA validation and are paid at the NLA's Prize Payment Centres, which work office hours, so a big Friday night win will usually wait until the next working day. Keep the ticket safe over the weekend and bring your Ghana Card when you go.

Friday Bonanza is for adults 18+ only. Start the weekend with a limit, and keep it.

Frequently asked questions

What time is the Friday Bonanza draw?

Around 8:00 pm GMT every Friday, live on GTV, under the schedule the NLA introduced on 1 December 2025.

Does Friday Bonanza pay more than other NLA games?

Not as far as we could find. It uses the same 5/90 format and bet types as the other evening games, and the odds of your numbers coming out are identical. Check the multipliers shown when you buy.

Is Friday Bonanza the same as the Sweet Bonanza slot?

No. Friday Bonanza is an NLA lotto draw. Sweet Bonanza is an online casino slot offered by betting sites.

Can I claim a big Friday win on Saturday?

Small wins may be paid by the agent or credited to your wallet quickly. Large wins go through NLA validation at Prize Payment Centres, usually on the next working day.
