Yes. Two independent signals agree. The footer of the Ghana version of the site names Bangbet Limited, states it is licensed under the Gaming Act 2006 (Act 721) and prints two licence numbers, one for sports betting and one for casino. Separately, the Gaming Commission of Ghana's list of licensed operators shows BANGBET with an Accra address, valid from January to December 2026. Its responsible gambling page adds the basics you would expect from a licensed operator: 18+ only, one account per customer, proof-of-identity checks and the option to suspend an account if gambling becomes a problem.

One platform, several countries: why it matters

Bangbet runs one international platform for Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria and Tanzania. You choose Ghana in the location setting and the site switches to cedis, Ghanaian networks and Ghana's licence statement. This is convenient, but it creates a real trap: the help centre mixes articles from different countries. Some articles describe Kenyan shilling limits, a Kenyan paybill number or a Kenyan USSD withdrawal shortcode. None of those apply in Ghana. Kick-off times show in Ghana time (GMT). Typical markets are 1X2, double chance, goals over and under, both teams to score, handicaps and correct score. Bang12 jackpot and Pick12

Bang12 is the weekly jackpot: predict the 1X2 result of 12 pre-selected weekend matches. According to the help article there are bonus payouts for 11 or 10 correct, and the round is voided and refunded if half or more of the games are cancelled. Prize amounts change, so check the jackpot page rather than an old social media post. Pick12 is a separate game in the menu with its own rules.

Bangbet virtual games

The Virtuals section offers V-Football, V-Basketball and V-Tennis. These are computer-simulated events with results from a random number generator, settled every few minutes. "Bangbet virtual" is a common search because the rounds are quick and cheap, but that speed is also the danger: losses pile up faster than on real football. Bangbet Ghana works with MTN MoMo, Telecel Cash and AT Money (shown as AirtelTigo Money in some articles). To deposit, open the cashier, choose your network, enter the amount in GHS and approve the prompt on your phone with your MoMo PIN.
