By The Bangbet app for Android is available on Google Play in Ghana, where Bangbet launched it in December 2023, and it can also be installed as an APK from the official Bangbet site. Either way the download is free. We could not confirm an iPhone app, so iPhone users should bet through the mobile site. The app is only for adults aged 18+.
Tamale Online is an independent review site, not Bangbet, and we do not host any app files. This guide uses the operator's site and Ghanaian press coverage as checked in October 2026.
Bang Bet app download: two official routes
Route 1: Google Play (easiest)
- Open the Play Store on your Android phone.
- Search for Bangbet and check the developer details match the operator.
- Tap Install and wait for the download.
- Open the app, select Ghana if asked for a country, and log in or register.
Route 2: APK from the official site
- Open the official Bangbet site in Chrome and make sure the location preference is set to Ghana.
- Find the app download link in the menu or footer.
- Allow your browser to install unknown apps when Android asks, for this file only.
- Open the downloaded file and tap Install.
- Switch the unknown-apps permission off again afterwards.
Google Play is the better choice when it works for you, because updates install automatically and Play Protect scans the app.
Choosing Ghana inside the app
Bangbet runs one platform for several African countries. After installing, check that the app shows cedis, Ghanaian networks (MTN, Telecel, AT) and Ghana's licence statement. If you see shillings or naira, change the country or location setting before you register. An account opened on the wrong country version will not accept Ghana MoMo.
Bangbet downloader and APKPure sites: why to skip them
The searches "bangbet downloader" and "bangbet apkpure" lead to mirror sites that repackage the app. Some versions are simply outdated. Others can contain adverts, trackers or code that reads your SMS, which is how MoMo one-time codes get stolen. A checklist before installing any betting app:
- Did it come from Google Play or the official site? If not, delete it.
- Does it ask for SMS, contacts or accessibility access? A betting app does not need these.
- Does it promise "VIP odds", an Aviator predictor or free bonus money? Those are scam hooks, not features.
What iPhone users can do
Without a confirmed App Store listing, use Safari: open the official Bangbet site, choose Ghana, log in, then tap Share and Add to Home Screen. The icon opens the mobile site full screen with the same sportsbook, Aviator, virtuals and cashier.
