Each pick carries its day and kick-off time in GMT. If a pick is withdrawn before kick-off, the line says so. Results stay on the list after the final whistle, wins and losses alike.
The weekend in Ghana time
Weekend football in Ghana runs from Saturday lunchtime to late Sunday night. Since Ghana does not change its clocks, the gap to the UK moves twice a year. During British Summer Time an English 3 pm kick-off starts at 2 pm in Accra; from late October to late March it is 3 pm here too. That shift catches people out every spring and autumn, so always check the time on the slip.

How weekend picks differ from daily ones
A weekend list is planned over two days, so we can afford to be pickier. We set a rough cap of six to eight picks across both days and only add one if it beats a pick already on the list. That keeps the weekend card short and stops the common habit of betting every televised match just because it is on.
The checks themselves are the familiar ones: form against the strength of opponents, chance creation and concession, injuries and suspensions, then a price comparison. Weekends add two extra questions. Did a team play away in Europe on Thursday night? Is there a derby or a must-win game next week that might change the coach's selection?
Weekend correct score and "sure" claims
Searches like "weekend predictions sure wins" and "3 sure draws this weekend" are popular, and so are the groups that sell them. Draws are among the hardest outcomes to call; three in a row is a long shot by any honest measure. We do post occasional correct score ideas, but only on the correct score page, and we never describe a weekend pick as sure.
A weekend budget plan in GHS
Decide the whole weekend's spend on Friday, before the first match. A simple split with a GHS 60 weekend budget:
- GHS 20 for Saturday afternoon (two singles of GHS 10, or four of GHS 5).
- GHS 20 for Saturday evening and Sunday.
- GHS 20 kept back. If Saturday goes badly, this money is not a rescue fund; it simply stays in your MoMo wallet.

Ghana Premier League on the weekend card
Local fixtures sit alongside the European games on most weekends. They add something the big leagues cannot: you may know the ground, the travel distances between Kumasi, Accra and the northern clubs, and how a heavy rain shower affects certain pitches. That local knowledge is useful, but public data on the domestic league is thinner, so our picks there are fewer and the stakes we suggest are smaller.

Weekend traps to avoid
- The Sunday night chase. Losing Saturday's slip and loading a big Sunday acca to win it back is the classic weekend mistake.
