Free football tips with the price, the reason and a suggested stake in units, plus a short guide to judging any tipster.

No prediction is ever sure. Tips here are opinions built on form and statistics, so treat them as research, not a promise. 18+.

Our free betting tips are football picks you can read, check and decide on yourself: every tip comes with the market, the odds when we posted it, a suggested stake in units and the reasoning in a few lines. They cost nothing and come with no WhatsApp group to join. Read the reason, compare the price at your bookmaker, and only place the ones you agree with.

A tip is an opinion with a price attached. It is not a promise. Anyone offering "100 percent winning tips" or "everyday winning tips" is selling a feeling, because football results always carry uncertainty.

Tips are opinions based on form and statistics, never guarantees. Stake only what you can afford to lose. 18+.

The tips feed mixes markets: match result, goals lines, both teams to score, handicaps and the occasional player or corners angle. What they share is a reason we can state and a price we think is fair or better.

Anatomy of a useful tip

Whether you take tips from us, a friend or a tipster on social media, a useful tip contains the same parts. If any of them is missing, you are being asked to trust rather than judge.

Where our tips come from

Every tip starts from data and ends with a price check. We look at results in context, the quality of chances teams create and allow, the schedule and confirmed team news. Then we ask whether the odds on offer are longer than the outcome deserves. If they are not, there is no tip, however obvious the favourite looks.

We also try to match the market to the reason. If the case is "both sides attack well and defend badly", the tip is a goals line, not a match winner. If the case is "the home side rarely loses but draws a lot", double chance or draw no bet makes more sense than a straight win. That habit alone saves punters a lot of avoidable losing slips.

Free tips, paid tips and "super tips"

Search results in Ghana are full of "free super tips", "expert tips" and VIP packages paid by MoMo. Paying does not change the maths of football. A paid tip has the same uncertainty as a free one, with a fee added that you must win back before you are even level. Before paying anyone, ask for a full record with odds and losses, kept over months, and check it yourself. Our guide to judging prediction sites has a checklist.

Keeping your own record

The best tipster to follow is one whose record you have checked yourself. A notebook or a phone spreadsheet is enough:

  1. Write down every tip you place: date, match, market, odds, stake in GHS.
  2. After the match, write the return (zero for a loss).
  3. Every month, add up stakes and returns. Returns divided by stakes tells you whether you are ahead.
  4. Judge after 100 tips or more, not after a lucky week.

Units and stakes in cedis

We suggest stakes in units rather than amounts, because budgets differ. Set your unit at 1 to 2 percent of your monthly betting money. With GHS 300, a unit is GHS 3 to GHS 6. A one-unit tip is a normal play; we rarely suggest more, and never on long odds.

Placing a tip at a Ghanaian bookmaker

  1. Choose a bookmaker licensed by the Gaming Commission of Ghana; our betting sites guide compares the main ones.
  2. Deposit with Telecel Cash, MTN MoMo or AT Money and approve the prompt with your PIN. Never share the PIN or an OTP with anyone.
  3. Find the match, open the exact market and compare the price with ours.
  4. Enter the stake in cedis and confirm.

Common mistakes with free tips

  • Taking every tip. Choose the ones whose reasoning convinces you.
  • Combining tips into long slips. Tips are priced as singles; stacking them multiplies the risk.
  • Ignoring price moves. A tip posted at 2.10 is a different bet at 1.70.
  • Paying for "inside information". Real inside information is illegal to trade on, and people selling it are almost always scammers.

Betting is for adults 18+ only. Tips are for entertainment and information; bet only what you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions

Are your betting tips really free?

Yes. There is no paid tier, no VIP group and no fee. The site is funded by advertising and affiliate links to bookmakers, which our disclosure page explains.

What is the best free betting tips site?

The one that shows odds, reasons, stakes and a full record including losses. Judge any site, ours included, on its record over months rather than its claims.

What does one unit mean in a tip?

A unit is your standard stake, set at a small share of your betting budget, for example GHS 5 if your monthly budget is around GHS 300.

Can tips win every day?

No. Even good tips lose often. A tipster with a sound method still has losing days and losing weeks.

Should I follow tips on WhatsApp or Telegram?

Be careful. Many groups show only winning slips and ask for MoMo payments to personal numbers. Ask for a complete record before trusting anyone.
