It is the second evening game of the week, a standard 5/90 draw of five winning numbers from 1 to 90. Lucky Tuesday draw day and time

Lucky Tuesday is drawn every Tuesday evening. From 1 December 2025, NLA draws moved to GTV prime time, and the Monday to Saturday draw shifted from 7:15 pm to around 8:00 pm GMT. Sellers stop taking tickets for a draw some time before it starts, and the cut-off can differ by channel, so a late purchase may land on a later draw. Check the draw date your seller prints rather than assuming.

Checking a Lucky Tuesday ticket by channel

How you check depends on how you bought. With the NLA moving to fully electronic sales during 2026, more players now hold a digital receipt than a paper slip.

Agent or kiosk ticket

  • Find the game name, draw date, numbers and bet type on the printed ticket.
  • Compare with the winning numbers above, then take the ticket back to the same agent to confirm and collect a small win.
  • Keep the ticket clean and flat; a damaged ticket can fail validation.

USSD or SMS purchase

  • Your confirmation SMS is your proof of purchase. Do not delete it.
  • Match the draw date and numbers in the SMS with the result.
  • Small wins on licensed digital channels are often credited to the MoMo wallet you paid from. If not, contact the seller through its official customer channel, never through a number that messaged you first.

App or website purchase

  • Open your ticket history and look for the Lucky Tuesday draw with the right date.
  • Most licensed apps show "won" or "lost" automatically after settlement, but it is still worth comparing the numbers yourself.

For larger wins, every channel leads to the same place: NLA validation and payment through its Prize Payment Centres at head and regional offices, with your ticket or receipt and your Ghana Card.

Is Lucky Tuesday really luckier?

No. The name is marketing, the same way Friday Bonanza or Fortune Thursday are. Every NLA 5/90 game draws five numbers from 1 to 90, and the chance that any single number you pick is among them is always 1 in 18. Searches for "hot numbers for Lucky Tuesday" are understandable, but a number that has come out often on Tuesdays has no extra pull next week. Our lotto predictions and statistics page shows frequency counts as history and explains the scams around paid Tuesday "bankers".

Lucky Tuesday results history

If you want to look back through older Tuesday draws, use the NLA past results archive and filter by game. A Tuesday-only history is handy for checking a ticket from a few weeks ago or for building your own count of how often each number appeared. Be wary of "database" sites that also sell numbers: the archive itself is useful, the sales pitch is not.

Ticket types in brief

Lucky Tuesday supports the usual NLA bet types. Direct means all your chosen numbers must be among the five; Perm splits a longer list into many lines and charges the stake for each one; Banker is built around one key number. The fixed multipliers are set by the NLA and shown when you buy. The full explanation, with a table of Perm lines, is on our NLA lotto hub.

Common Lucky Tuesday mistakes

  • Checking against the VAG morning result of the same Tuesday instead of the evening draw.
  • Counting machine numbers as winning numbers.
  • Assuming a Perm lost because not all numbers came out, when two or three lines may still have won.
  • Sending a "claim fee" to someone on WhatsApp who says your ticket won. Real wins are paid by the seller or the NLA, never through a stranger.

Buying a Lucky Tuesday ticket safely

Buy only from an NLA-licensed agent, kiosk or digital channel, and make sure the ticket or receipt names the game, the draw date, your numbers, the bet type and the stake. Pay through the official checkout or the agent's terminal, never by sending MoMo to a private number that contacted you on social media. If a seller cannot tell you which NLA game and draw the ticket is for, walk away. Our guide to licensed 5/90 sellers explains what an NLA licence covers.

Lucky Tuesday, like all NLA games, is only for adults 18+. Play with a set amount and treat any win as a bonus, not a plan.
