Monday Special results appear in the feed below once the NLA's Monday evening draw is published, currently at around 8:00 pm GMT on GTV. Monday Special opens the week of NLA evening games and uses the standard 5/90 format, so your ticket wins or loses on the five winning numbers alone. This page also shows how to read a result line without mixing up winning and machine numbers, a mistake that costs players every week.

The top row is the most recent Monday Special. Earlier in the day, before the draw, it still shows last Monday's numbers, so look at the date first. The numbers come from the NLA announcement, which is the official result if anything ever differs.

When the Monday Special draw takes place
Monday Special is drawn every Monday evening. Since 1 December 2025 the NLA's live draws have been broadcast on GTV, and the Monday to Saturday draw moved from 7:15 pm to around 8:00 pm, after the news. Ghana keeps GMT all year, so there is no clock change to worry about. The NLA can adjust times, so if the feed has not updated by 9 pm, check the NLA's own announcements.
Earlier on Monday there is also the VAG morning draw and the NoonRush midday draw. A ticket for those is not a Monday Special ticket even if you bought it on Monday; the VAG lotto results page covers the morning game.
How to read a Monday Special result line
A full result has two rows of five numbers each. Knowing which is which is the whole game:
| Part of the result | What it is | Does it decide a normal ticket? |
|---|---|---|
| Winning numbers | The first five numbers drawn from 1 to 90 | Yes, these settle Direct, Perm and Banker bets |
| Machine numbers | A second set of five drawn afterwards from the machine | No, unless you bought a machine-number product |
| Draw date | The Monday the draw took place | Yes, it must match the date on your ticket |
The order in which the winning numbers come out does not matter for a standard ticket. If your Direct-2 numbers are 14 and 77, you win whether 77 was drawn first or fifth, as long as both are among the five winning numbers.
Checking your Monday ticket in four steps
- Confirm the game and date. Tickets bought on Sunday night after the Aseda draw are usually for Monday Special. The date on the ticket decides.
- Circle the five winning numbers. Ignore the machine row for now.
- Apply your bet type. Direct needs all your chosen numbers among the five; a simple Banker needs your one banker number; a Perm wins on every line whose numbers are all among the five.
- Double-check with a second source. Hand-typed result sites sometimes swap digits, so confirm with the NLA or the seller before you throw a ticket away.
New to the bet types? The NLA lotto hub walks through Direct, Perm and Banker with worked examples and a table of how many lines a Perm creates.
Monday Special odds in plain numbers
Monday's draw is no easier or harder than any other day. With five numbers drawn from 90:
- a single number you choose comes out about once in every 18 draws on average;
- a specific pair comes out together about once in 400 draws;
- a specific three-number set about once in 11,748 draws.
The fixed multipliers the NLA pays for each bet type reflect these odds and are printed on the ticket or shown by the seller. We do not list them because they can be revised.
Monday lotto prediction: what to expect from forecasters
Monday is a popular day for "forecast" posts, often built on last Saturday's National Weekly or Sunday's machine numbers. None of that changes the odds: the Monday draw has no memory of the weekend. Statistics on our lotto predictions page are presented as history only. Anyone charging MoMo for "Monday Special bankers" is selling numbers they cannot know.
Claiming a Monday Special win
Go back to where you bought the ticket. Agents and licensed digital channels usually pay small wins quickly, and mobile purchases are often credited to the same Telecel Cash, AT Money or MTN MoMo wallet. Bigger wins go through NLA validation and are paid at the NLA's Prize Payment Centres at its head and regional offices; bring the original ticket and your Ghana Card. We found no published claim deadline, so claim within days, not weeks. Missed a past Monday? The NLA past results archive has earlier draws.
Monday Special is for players aged 18+ only. Keep lotto spending to a fixed weekly amount in cedis, and stop if it starts to feel like a way to solve money problems.
Frequently asked questions
What time is the Monday Special draw?
Currently around 8:00 pm GMT on GTV, after the evening news. The time moved from 7:15 pm on 1 December 2025. Check NLA announcements if results seem late.
Is a ticket bought on Sunday night valid for Monday Special?
Usually yes, if it was bought after the Sunday Aseda draw closed. The draw date printed on the ticket is what counts.
Do machine numbers count on my Monday Special ticket?
Not for a normal Direct, Perm or Banker ticket. Only the five winning numbers settle those bets.
Does the order of Monday Special numbers matter?
No. For standard 5/90 tickets, your numbers only need to be among the five winning numbers, in any order.
