Want to follow the steps on the operator site?

Go to Betika

For a Betika download in Ghana, go to Google Play: the Betika Ghana Android app is listed there, so you do not need an APK from a website or a chat group. There is no Betika app in the Ghana App Store, so iPhone users bet through the mobile site, and anyone on a basic phone can use Betika Lite or USSD instead. Below are the steps, the alternatives and the mistakes to avoid.

Download the Betika Ghana app from Google Play

  1. Open the Play Store on your Android phone.
  2. Search for "Betika Ghana" and check the developer and description mention Ghana and the Gaming Commission licence.
  3. Tap Install and wait for the download to finish.
  4. Open the app, then log in or register with your Ghanaian phone number.
  5. Allow notifications only if you want bet result alerts.

Betika runs separate products in several countries. If the listing you find shows another country's currency or payment brands, it is not the Ghana app, and your Ghanaian account will not work in it.

What the Betika betting app includes

The app carries the same account and wallet as the website. According to the Play Store description and the Ghana site, you get:

  • Pre-match and live football, with the EPL and the big European leagues.
  • Cash Out during events and Bet Boosts on selected matches.
  • The Falaa Daily Jackpot.
  • Virtuals, crash games such as Aviator, and quick games.
  • Deposits and withdrawals through mobile money with a PIN prompt on your phone.

Betika app download on iPhone: the workaround

We searched the Ghana App Store in October 2026 and found no Betika app. On an iPhone, open the Betika Ghana site in Safari, log in and use Share, then Add to Home Screen. You get a shortcut that behaves much like an app. Ignore anyone offering a "Betika iOS app" through a link or profile install: no official one exists for Ghana.

App, Lite or USSD: which suits your phone?

Your situationBest option
Modern Android, regular dataBetika app from Google Play
iPhoneMobile site in Safari
Old phone or low storageBetika Lite
No data or a feature phoneUSSD: *263#

All four channels use one account, so you can deposit on USSD and check your bets in the app later.

Avoid fake Betika apps and APKs

Because the official app is on Google Play, there is little reason to install a Betika APK from elsewhere. Files shared on WhatsApp, "modded" versions or apps that promise to predict virtual results or Aviator rounds are scams. They often ask for your login or MoMo PIN and empty your account. If an app asks for permission to read SMS or control your screen, uninstall it.

If the Betika app will not install or open

  • Check that your Play Store country is Ghana; a foreign store account may hide the listing.
  • Free up storage, then try again.
  • Update Android System WebView and the app itself from Play.
  • If it still fails, use the mobile site or Lite while you wait for an update.

The Betika Ghana Android app is listed on Google Play. Search for Betika Ghana and check the listing mentions Ghana before you install.

Is there a Betika app for iPhone in Ghana?

No Betika app was found in the Ghana App Store. Use the mobile website in Safari and add it to your home screen.

Do I need a new account for the Betika app?

No. The app, website, Lite site and USSD all use the same Betika Ghana account and wallet.
