Is there an official SportyBet WhatsApp?

We could not find a WhatsApp channel listed on the operator's Ghana contact details. Searches for "sportybet whatsapp" and "sportybet group whatsapp" mostly lead to tipster groups and impersonators. Some of them use the SportyBet logo and a profile picture of a "support agent". Their usual moves:

• Asking for your MoMo PIN or the SMS code "to reverse a deposit".
• Offering to "unlock" a pending withdrawal for a fee.
• Selling booking codes for fixed matches.

Real SportyBet staff never need your PIN or OTP. Fixed matches sold in groups are a scam, full stop. If you shared a code by mistake, change your password and contact MTN, Telecel or AT straight away.

Before you call or email: what to prepare

1. The phone number registered on your SportyBet account.
2. For deposit issues: the MoMo transaction ID from your SMS, the amount in GHS, the network and the time.
3. For withdrawals: the withdrawal reference shown in your transaction history and its status (Pending, Failed or Successful).
4. For bet disputes: the ticket ID and a screenshot of the bet.
5. For verification: your Ghana Card or Voter ID, if the team asks for it through official channels.

Fix it yourself first

Many common problems have an answer in the help pages:

• MTN deposit prompt did not appear: the help page suggests approving it via *170#, then My Wallet and My Approvals.

• Deposited from the wrong number: payments from a number other than your account number create a separate account. Explain this to support with both numbers.

Complaints and escalation

Put serious complaints in writing by email so you have a record.
