Tamale: Journalist with 8 children marries third wife

Mr Mohammed Bondirigbum, the Northern Regional Correspondent of the Ghanaian Observer Newspaper on Sunday, 27/06/2020 got married to his longtime lovebird, Zubaida Musah.

The bride is the third wife of the seasoned journalist. She is a worker at the Baoba Microfinance in Tamale.

There was unanticipated drama during the marriage process at the Masjid, when an Islamic scholar asked to uncertain the number of legal wife’s of the groom, some friend’s and relative’s who appeared confused mentioned 2, 3, and 4 amidst cheers and murmuring among the gathering.

Subsequently, family elder in consultation with the groom brought finality to the uncertainty in the masjid, the family elder confirmed three wife’s.

He however revealed that, the latest bride would have been fourth wife, but one of the wife’s (Adiza Mahama) is currently at large due to unresolved issues.

The groom in an interaction with Ibrahim Nurudeen Naporo of Atinka News said, he has iron out the concerns of the disgruntled wife, and that she will soon return.

He therefore assured family and friends not to be perturbed about the turn of event.

Mr Mohammed Bondirigbum alias ‘Senior journalist’ has eight children, four boys and four girls. The three wife’s includes Memunatu Alhassan, Anas Zuweira and Zubaida Musah who happens to the latest bride.

The marriage ceremony was well attended by family and friends, government appointees, politicians and his colleagues from the inky fraternity.
