Sports sector will witness major infrastructure dev’t under Mahama – Alhaji Mbalba

The NDC-UK/Ireland chapter Chairman, Alhaji Alhassan Mbalba, says the sports sector in Ghana will witnessed a boost in its infrastructure when former President John Mahama is re-elected come December 7, 2020.

“If you could recollect His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the President built the Bokum Sports Emporium which is dedicated to only boxing. I can assure you that the next NDC government will build FIFA/CAF stadiums in the newly created regions”.

” His Excellency John Dramani Mahama together with Professor Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang will take Ghana to its old sports recognition. Believe me, Ghanaians will witness an aggregate in the sports sector. There will be no player exodos in the domestic league.” Alhaji Mbalba added.

“The next NDC government will bring the Sheiks in the middle east to invest in our sports so that players will no more think rushing to overseas”.

Alhaji Mbalba further stated that the National Democratic Congress under the leadership of Mr Mahama will set up a Sports Fund which will be given to the Sports federations including the  Ghana Football Association.

Former players who have played and served the nation like Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, CK Akonnor, Kwame Ayew, Sola Ayew, Stephen Appiah, John Mensah, Emmanuel Armah, Charles Taylor, among others, will serve as role models to unearth talents across the country so that Ghana can have a formidable and solid team.
