S/R: iValley Sets to host first Digital Skills Job Fair in Damongo

A non-profit business development and innovation hub based in the Savannah Region, iValley has teamed with Ghana Tech Lab to organize the first Digital Skills Job Fair in Damongo, the regional capital on April 2, 2022.

The theme for the maiden edition of the Digital Skills Job Fair is “Catalyzing Job Creation Through Mobile App Development”.

The fair, according to the hub will provide an opportunity for employers to identify and engage with the region’s brightest young digital talents.

The program will also provide young talents with the opportunity to learn from experienced digital entrepreneurs and get assistance in securing job opportunities in the region and beyond.

Madam Sandra Tom-Dery, an Employability Lead at iValley indicated that the fair will directly give employers the opportunity to explain to large pools of qualified candidates all about current job openings, application processes and create brand awareness.

The job fair is under MasterCard Foundation’s Pathways to Sustainable Employment (PaSE) Program and it’s slated for April 2 2022 at the Unity Center, Catholic Guest House in Damongo.
