Maccasio reveals he was ‘cheated’ at #VGMA20

Barely a week after his loss of Reggae/Danchall song of the year to Shatta Wale’s “Gringo”, rapper Maccasio has taken his social media to register his displeasure for the award not going in his favor.

Maccasio’s hit song “Dagomba Girl was nominated in the same category with Shatta Wale, Samini and Stonebwoy for the Reggae/Dancehall Song of the year.

The Zola artiste believe he was “cheated” after working hard to secure a total of 11600 votes.

He wrote awhile ago that indicating;

“Cmon. 116300 votes couldn’t win a single category ?🤷‍♂. I think they should just forget the voting side and let the board decide who wins any award. All those that voted,I thank u guys soo much. God bless you. The real winners✊🏻. #Maccasio #69fans #8thJune

8th June is going to b live on T3 dem go see 69Fans!!!!..” the post read.

However, the 69 fan army and followers in the Northern Region who are equally unhappy about the decision are accusing the organizers of “using Northers to make money” through voting.
