Ibrahim Mahama donates 1000 bags of rice, other food items to support feeding of students at Tamasco

Chief Executive Officer of Engineers and Planners, Ibrahim Mahama has on Monday, 28th February, 2022 made a hefty donation of food items worth thousands of Ghana Cedis to his alma mater Tamale Senior High School (Tamasco).

The items include 1000 bags of rice, 100 gallons of cooking oil, 200 boxes of mackerel and 200 boxes of tomato paste.

This is expected to cater for the students throughout the term as the school consumes 986 bags of rice per semester during the period.

Mr. Rafik Mahama, an aide to the business executive who presented the items indicated, Mr. Mahama wants lives to be better for students on campus.

He noted “Mr. Ibrahim Mahama sent me from Accra to come and present these various food items to Tamasco, his alma mater. This is the number of bags needed to take care of the entire students population on campus for the semester.”

He added “We hope the gesture will go a long way to inspire the students to study hard as they aspire to be great people in society.”

Receiving the items on behalf of the School, the Headmaster Rev. Edward Azeka expressed gratitude to Mr. Mahama for his continuous support to the school needs.

“It’s a very good gesture and this will help solve any food challenges the school may encounter,” he stated.

Meanwhile, Mr Mahama as part of giving back to society is singlehandedly financing the construction of an ultra-modern 550 bed capacity dormitory for the school which is 75% complete.
