Ghana remains attractive to investors – Akufo-Addo

President Akufo-Addo has said Ghana remains up float for investment in the continent despite the negative impact of COVID-19 on economic activities.

The President on Tuesday, 9th March, 2021 delivered to parliament a message on the State of The Nation in accordance with article 67 of the 1992 constitution.

According to him, the country remains attractive to investors who are willing to do business as a result of pragmatic measures taken against the Novel Coronavirus epidemic.

“In spite of the ravages of the pandemic, our nation is still very much in rude health, and remains very attractive to investors,” he noted.

President Akufo-Addo is confident Ghana is on the path to recovery following the implementation of the vaccination programme under the COVAX Facility agreement.

He added the country will recorder quickly and work towards putting the nation on the path of progress and prosperity.

“We are building a more inclusive society, and, soon, things will work for all in Ghana, and then we will fulfill our true potential as the Black Star of Africa,” President Akufo-Addo added.
