Fancy Gadam’s “Abudu-Andani” Track Is Not A Peace Song -Achirison

Maverick Entertainment Critic, Achirison Abdul-Razak has assertted that Fancy Gadam’s ‘Abudu-Andani’s peace song is synonymous with a love song.

Speaking on “Yelman Kpema Saha” (Hard Truth) on Diamond FM Friday, February 1, the showbiz firebrand stated there is no direct connection between the song tittle and it’s lyrics.

Fancy Gadam following the successful implementation of the Dagbon Road Map to peace and reconciliation by the Otumfuo led committee of eminent chiefs, withnessed the performance of final funeral rites of Yaa Naa Mahamudu Abdulai IV and Yaa Naa Yakubu Andani II, and the enskinment of former Savelugu Chief, Yaa Naa Abukari Mahama II as new Overload of Dagbon Kingdom supposedly composed the ‘Abudu-Andani’ to celebrate peace at last in Dagbon.

Achirison who obviously unimpressed in his submission during the program noted the song couldn’t be classified as a peace song but a ‘love song’.

He added that “the song is a nice song and even even though Fancy Gadam repeatedly mentioned Abudu-Andani in the song, the lyrics in the song is not centered on the forementiined but a complete expression of love and affection”.
