In his brief remarks after picking the award, Dr Amin Adam said “It is a pleasure to receive the honour in recognition of the contributions that I have made for the good of our country. It has only been in furtherance of the interest of the people of Ghana and I share in this glory with my former colleagues and partners whom I worked with to achieve this; it was a collective effort”.
He continued “I also assured the industry players at the event that under the leadership of the Honourable Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Ministry of Energy was working hard to reposition the oil and gas industry to withstand the financial and economic stress that would result from the push for the global energy transition and advised them to be smart and to diversify their investments in the energy industry”.
