Covid-19: Coronavirus cases rise to 27 in Ghana

The Novel Coronavirus disease continues to increase in the country admist new recorded cases of the deadly virus.

Two persons have died so far and none of the patients who tested positive have recovered from the virus.

According to the Ministry of Information, as total of 521 suspected cases have tested for the Covid-19 virus by the in Accra and Kumasi.

“Out of the suspected, twenty-seven (27) cases including two (2) deaths have been confirmed. All the twenty-five (25) confirmed cases are receiving treatment in isolation,”

the statement noted.

The state added all the 25 confirmed cases are currently receiving treatment in isolation.

Out of the total number of cases recorded, twenty (20) are Ghanaians whiles the other five (5) nationals of China, Lebanon, Norway UK and France.

The Ministry also revealed nineteen (19) of the cases have completed the the fourteen (14) mandatory follow up.
