Choggu Boys Set Date For The Return of The Heroes Of Change Album Launch

The well garnished and most culturally branded Black “E” Recordz giants, made up of Black Echo, Leokhan and their able team earlier on the 15th Feb 2020 briefed the media on their forthcoming most awaited Album Launch dubbed “Heroes Of Change” but this great initiative was however overthrown by the atrocious covid-19 pandemic.

Black ‘E’ Recordz recently unleashed 21St November 2020 for the return of this “Heroes of Change” album launch that marks their 5th Audio album inside the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium VVIP Conference Hall (9am to 12noon)

According to the the group Choggu Boys) under Black E Records that they believe in celebrating people who have in one way or the other contributed positively to the development of Dagbon and Ghana at large.

The “Heroes of Change” Album will encourage the youth to develop the attitude of being patriotic in nation building and also documenting our lost history to the younger generation using music. The said album is also dedicated in celebrating the positive contributions these personalities made whiles they were still alive.
The theme for the event (still unchanged) is to celebrate great personalities who has left unforgettable works after their sorrowful departure. Below are names of those great personalities chosen:

Rev Dimahini Yahaya (Pastor Dokurugu)

Mohammed Hafiz (Diema Naa)

“The Celebrated Heroes”.

Speaking to the manager of Choggu Boys Prince Chentiwuni S.A Fatawu stated that, over the years Choggu Boys have used their arts to change a lot of narratives and are still doing especially using their music to project our rich culture. First is using our arts of changing the perception of people with regards to Choggu community from confusion area to that of music and rap.

    Again, fusing our own local instruments with the contemporary style of music. We also want people to know that, one can do any genre of music and still appear in your traditional or local attire which in the end will project our rich culture.

    Choggu Boys is one of the Northern based artistes who are into the projection of our Northern culture and tradition through our music brand. They were crowned as the Traditional Song/Artistes of the year at the just ended Northern Entertainment Awards 2020.
    Choggu Boys however used three years to record and put together fifteen (15) song on this album and within those three years, Choggu Boys dedicated their time in promoting all these songs on the album except iPhone and a tribute song to the three heroes which are yet to be released.

    According to the team, a lot of dignitaries have been met and as well expected to grace the event, with Marie Stopes Ghana, Savannah Women Integrated Development Agency (owned by the first lady of the region), Norsaac, Youth Empowerment For Life and the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly partnering for this event.
